Newsletter perfect

Monday: It's the day the ballots. Titis the show notes and appreciations: good quarter overall, for each of them. Cheri and I congratulate them and encourage them to continue on this path.

However, Titin is not satisfied: the ballot is not perfect. His dad told him that we ask him to make efforts and work conscientiously. The notes will follow if it is given a minimum of harm given that has all the ingredients for success in school. It concludes that, in every way, there is no perfect form.

Tuesday morning during breakfast: Following his nocturnal musings, Titin me that finally she is glad that his ballot was not perfect.
Me: Ha ? It
: Yeah, it's not perfect though a ballot in the first quarter!
Me: Why? It
: Because it's super hard to keep up on all year and we may decline for the following newsletters. This is not encouraging !
Me: So, you mean with your newsletter, you have room for improvement, right? It
: Yes, I can improve! In fact, the perfect form, is at the end of the year he must have it.

is unstoppable!

Karma: the law of causality applied to our actions and our experiences.

By Marie-Therese Guettab

Saran Wrap To Reduce Waist Size

Tough parent's job!

Act 1
Monday morning: Big angry! When leaving for school, Titin is written: "Damn!" My book for the presentation! " She rushes into his room.

Me (which followed suit to look too and we'll be late) : What book? What presentation? It
(bustling in her room) : But you know! The book on the Dragons! We bought it together. I had to present it on Friday but I forgot it and the lady said that I will present today (she finds him and puts it in fourth gear in his briefcase) .
Me (forgotten? Glups, breathe, stay clam) : Ha? It's a shame, you did not show the card reading that you wrote. I hope you have not done fault. (we leave the room and I close the door) . It
(without dismantling) : I have not done.
Me (Hiiik? Breathe, breathe) : I think I did not hear (my tone is so cold that I'm sure that icy mist out of my mouth) . It
(obviously she does not see the fog, because it keeps the same relaxed air, and it repeats well detached syllables, kind, but you're deaf or what?) : I have not done.
Me (I scream) : NO BUT YOU kidding me?

In the elevator, I fire! She certifies that it will write its form after reading the canteen. I do not believe a word, but ok, let him the benefit of the doubt. And if the teacher gives him a bad grade, it will assume. Meanwhile, I told him that the birthday party with friends is postponed to an unspecified date and that tonight we'll have a conversation with his father for what happened next. There is curious, it is the least malignant!

Still, it put me in trim for the rest of the day!

Act 2
the evening I go home around 18:30. Jolie-call Mom to ask her to bring the children presto. No bowl, Titin is in the bath and Tweety must follow. Well, I still demand to speak to my daughter. After the usual hello, I go into the heart of the matter.

Me: So ? It happened how the presentation, darling?
She: Okay .
Me (soft as a cloud of cotton) : And your reading record? You have had time to do it for the canteen? It
: Well no, because ... (I do not even remember his excuse can I get stuck on the no) . I have to make tomorrow.
Me (again, I think that ice forms in the bath darling) : And it is made? It
(this time, she must feel the cold current because it hesitates a little) : Well I have not had time ...
Me (Pu ***, this time, I'll do it!) : So you'll soon get washed to go home. You better dinner in a hurry, because then you write your reading record and you do not lie down until it is completed. Oh, and you also explain to your father why you have not finished your homework. Give me your grandmother!

Jolie-confirms my Mom (of course) that Titin was careful to avoid the extra work she had to go!

Until the youngsters coming in, I tell Cheri escapades of her offspring. At least it will allow him to approach the conversation without screaming and it will carry more weight. We talk about the measures and we agree to take on the speech.

Act 3
When children arrive, I send them both to be held to sleep. The table is installed and they can dine in stride.

After eating, Titin board, finally, on his reading record (she has had time to repeat with his uncle, therefore, good command of his subject) in the first draft, so I corrected the faults with it, then to own. When she finished, Cheri convene in the dining room for the Century of soap.

He does not cry, but puts things straight: from now on, Titin is committed to:
- never forget his books and his books for his homework,
- get to work without complaining, nor with me or with her grandparents,
- respect his mother.

We take this opportunity to remind him what a commitment: when gives his word (like when she promised to bring the mistress of his duty on Monday or when she assured me she would write her card after the canteen), we respect it! If she wants us to trust him, she agrees on things that it can hold. Otherwise, it does not commit! The explanation seems to bear fruit because it requires thinking before promising anything, I let him sleep a night (good adviser, it seems).

Act 4
Tuesday morning: Titin has reflected and explained that she committed the last two points, but she can not forget her promise me more never notebooks. After discussion, she promised me to look in his text book every night before leaving the classroom, to put the books in his satchel and books she needs for homework. I agree that market. ***************

Ten days later, the agreement is respected. The date of the anniversary is fixed and we are preparing the invitations tomorrow. The next lever to keep the market is the promise of a trip to the movies with your family, to see "Arthur and the Invisibles 2".

Tears of the Unicorn (2)

The first poem on the tears of the Unicorn was written for the birth of a guild on a role-play on-line (Darck Age of Camelot, not to call it). Cheri wrote a sequel, describing the goal of our confraternity.

She cries to the world
war rumbles on

On lands burned

On all this bloodshed

It cry on the edges

The laughter of children

love and virtue

All values lost

Tears
we are born we will fight
Endless

For after the distress

Hope finally appears

One day we will win
Her tears will dry

A torrent of happiness

How To Tell If Someones Wearing A Diaper

Tears of the Unicorn

As I n 'have no inspiration right now to power this blog, I recycle ... Forgive me. That said, I'm not sure you're very likely to walk here.

Tears of the Unicorn

She lived in a hidden Wood
In a place unknown to me

She preferred solitude

the noise and multitude

His name alone inspires beauty

independence, purity

At least She startled her
And
fled to avoid being touched

Some people tried to catch

To capture his horn

They used young virgin

order it from falling into their trap

But hunters returned shameful

Deprived of a fabulous booty

A legend has remained

Myth and remained

She wanted to travel the world

To see if the earth was round one

not perky she went

of the sweetness its shelter

But everywhere around the earth

peoples declared war

Powerful drunk with power led

poor to slaughter

Poverty, hunger and blood

did not spare even children

In their eyes she read the sentence

Despair, fear, hatred

She did not understand why

Misfortune reigned here Low
Then she decided

From fast reach home

But the calm of his home
Do not allow him to forget

And since his eyes dull

Flow tears of the Unicorn

Enochian Theory Album Promo 2009

Chronicle by Metalkiller

Warning masterpiece !

progressive rock sensation The big brain in the year called Enochian THEORY. This English band that I just found out we balance his (terrible) first skeud DEVELOPMENT: CREATING EX NIHILIO, having already released 2 EP as an appetizer, OUR Lengthening Shadows in 2005 and A MONUMENT TO THE DEATH OF AN IDEA in 2006.

compound as a trio the group uses an orchestra (The Lost Orchestra) for all parts of synth, piano and orchestration.

just for info and do not die stupid .. you must know that the Enochian or language of the Angels is the name given to an occult or angelic language, which has its own alphabet; This language is used today in modified form in some satanic ritual in an attempt to communicate with spirits parallel universes. It is also used in some religious sects ... What a program!

Given the sheer number of outlets metal and progressive rock lately ... it becomes increasingly difficult to make a choice, because the best rubs often poor, and if the quantity is the quality appointments, is more than questionable .. Not that there is no good bands in recent years .. called progressive music have their bridgeheads favorites like Porcupine Tree, Dream Theater, Opeth or Tool ... But the concern would rather groups emerging that are trying to get a place in this difficult and elitist, not hesitating to innovate and try to concoct boiled sound convoluted, hacked, trying to find the alchemy perfect fusing styles as diverse as extreme metal, rock, jazz, prog, electro .. etc. .. which gives most of the time something vile and indigestible that will inevitably flee the listener who looks for the most part, simplicity and enjoyment of the peaceful melody and easy to understand ..

But sometimes in this land No Man's Music .. a new kid comes to getting out of this mess we are just ambient and offer his "new", which must not go unnoticed given the prevailing mediocrity of current production ...

is the case with the 3 English Enochian THEORY. This group English may be a hit with this UFO, which at first might seem to some as an elitist and complex work, the album kind of sucks for pseudo intelo which causes trouble after just 5 minutes .. Well I can assure you it is nothing and Evolution: Creatio Ex Nihilio is an exciting piece from beginning to end that does not create trouble for one second ... the style is difficult to identify because so varied and so "Progressive Rock" is the name that appears at first to agree that music can also talk about alternative metal, experimental rock, post-hardcore, progressive metal, ambient and even post rock ... As you can see, it is quite difficult to put a label on Enochian THEORY, which could be closer to groups as diverse as: Oceansize, Tool, OSI, CYNIC, CULT OF LUNA, Baroness ... This group be the KING CRIMSON 21st Century?

Enochian THEORY plays music absolutely interesting and downright enjoyable, a unique sound and a wide variety of compounds that we are not bored for one second to listen to this remarkable album .. At times their music can be powerful, cold, brutal, extreme squarely on the edge of death metal. It is never very far the rupture. And at other times these musicians know how to caress you, enchanted by the sublime melodies of extraordinary emotional power ... dropping the listener under the spell of their songs licked and charming ..
With "Evolution ..." Enochian Theory has created a hybrid monster, a real mammoth music .. a radically innovative work, a musical accent Gestus structural and melodic variety, changing rhythms, which can be extremely quiet and poetic without warning and then you assailant burst of violent and destructive. Enochian Theory gave life to a work immensely rich of extraordinary inventiveness monumental landscapes filled with haunting melodies and a strangely hypnotic quality. This is truly an album or you can lose yourself forever if you're not careful ...

What's great about the progressive rock is that it is in perpetual motion, he never stops and each group from this musical movement will sooner or later the stone to the Block order to change the music and offering new sounds for future generations so that the music never stops .. and it is certain that Enochian THEORY has lead to a breakthrough in convincing the quest for perfection, this research absolute GRAAL Music .. that all musicians dream of achieving ...

Chronicle By Metalkiller

is again South America which is featured on the blog. Because after my vodka and my unhealthy love for Polish prog scene), I enter my period Tequila ... After presenting you the Argentines SACRAL of a few weeks ago .. Brazil's turn to be featured, with a little prodigy born in São Paulo ... excellent and amazing young band of prog-metal, DEVENTTER ... Brazil? Argentina? whiz kids?? no! no! I'm not talking about football, but music, specifically progressive metal ....

DEVENTTER began in 2001 under the leadership of Hugo Bertolaccini (keyboards) and Andre Gabriotti (bass), both vowing a passion for progressive rock, with the backing of guitarist ANDREW MARENGO, they compose an instrumental track 23-minute "The Beauty ... And The Dark Side Of Our Lives" first demo of the group. An EP well received by the press. This will encourage our three comrades to continue the adventure. Then everything started ...
DEVENTTER Since then grew and four musicians were added to the line-up, Caio Teixeira (Drums), Danilo Pilla (guitar), Felipe Schäffer (Voice) and recently Leonardo Milani (Bass).
The group has worked hard these sparing no efforts to promote his music in his country and the world, linking together in concert .. And is forging a fine reputation. All this work will be rewarded by the release of their debut album The 7th DIMENSION in 2007, and although it is not without flaws, due precisely to the fact that this is a first album. The 7th dimension is very successful, and get a very impressive sales and positive reviews in the Brazilian press and internationally.
Turning tirelessly in their country with the sizes that are Tempestt Brazilian prog, THESSARA MINDFLOW OR ...
the famous drummer Mike Portnoy of DREAM THEATER them as one of the best prog-metal band from Brazil, also did not hesitate to invite them to play in the first part of the tour DREAN THEATER Brazil.

If progressive rock is the basic source of inspiration and main DEVENTTER .. (See for yourself the influences seventies claimed by the group), these influences are far from eloquent! because if these young musicians refer to music pioneers such as DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH, PINK FLOYD and RUSH .. it's more in mind than in reality because their music is resolutely contemporary, and building on these solid foundations, they have concocted a mix of 70's prog, metal, modern rock and alternative to trend grunge .. and I can assure you that by the time the music of the Brazilian (Incidentally, all excellent musicians) is far from being a Brazilian samba .. know if they move us with their compositions with smooth melodies and graceful as a slice of honey .. they also know to be aggressive and cleaner ... the ardor of their youth coupled with their Latin origins give this group a special originality .. despite their relative young age, these Brazilians sweat the prog in the same way as the band pornoy (listen to track 2 "6000", we believe it .. at DT). Certainty .. these young people know showcase their music and compose songs all the more alluring than the others: each long or short, contains a lot of bright ideas, arrangements and sparkling musical prowess, and they rely heavily on 70's heritage, they do so with much originality and freshness .. frankly apart from a sound I would describe as average on some songs, I think this wonderful album should propel quickly DEVENTTER the pantheon of the best groups of its kind and soon to replace the late ANGRA (A. Matos period) in the heart of all Fans of progressive metal.

A special mention for the singer FELIPE Schäffer which has a beautiful timbre and charisma amazing .. This guy is a plus for the group undeniable .. like ANGRA with André Matos ...

Here! I would have warned .. So do not miss this discovery came from South America .. For over from Brazilian Progressive Metal has finally arrived and she called : DEVENTTER

ANGRA GOODBYE .. VIVE DEVENTTER!

Chronique by Metalkiller

Voilà donc le retour du Flying Dutch ... Arjen Anthony Lucassen is back in an all new adventure with his new project GUILT MACHINE ... Hallelujah! the messiah of rock opera is back with us for the greatest happiness of all those fans present in the galaxy .... and beyond ...

Well after AEYRON projects, Star One, Ambeon, our favorite Dutchman proves once again that he is never short of ideas and inspiration and he does not hesitate to to question once again with no guarantee that its loyal audience will follow him once again ...

No more pranks megalomaniac AEYRON period, which over the album became a huge machinery and an incredible parade of rock stars more prestigious as each other. For example AEYRON have participated in projects, no less than 50 vocalists like: Anneke van Giersbergen (The Gathering), FISH, James Labrie (Dream Theater), Mike Baker (Shadow Gallery), Russell Allen (Symphony X), Timo Kotipelto (Stratovarius ) or Neal Morse ... And a good forty musicians from across the foreground as: Clive Nolan (Arena), Ken Hensley (Uriah Heep), Tomas Bodin (Flower Kings), Michael Romeo (Symphony X) Stephen van Haestregt (Within Temptation), Gary Wehrkamp (Shadow Gallery), to name a few ...

This time Anthony has been in sobriety as it gathers about its new line-up project a small but high quality. Assuring himself the bass and keyboards, they told guitars LORI Linstruth his manager and talented guitarist STREAM OF PASSION. For Battery is CHRIS MAITLAN former drummer of Porcupine Tree in it sticks .. And vocals, the revelation of the year, the young Jasper Steverlinck (Arid) . a really nice surprise this Jasper .. What class! what talent! and above what a voice! .. enchanting, pure as crystal, melodious soft and fragile both ..

Arjen A. Lucassen, we proved in the past he had an incredible talent and a perfect mastery to develop conceptual album telling stories incredibly beautiful and simple, to awaken our imaginations and touch our heart and not with ON THIS PERFECT DAY that this may change, 6 parts of this concept are absolutely inseparable and form a perfect simplicity and natural grace or dominates the album's absolute master, who once again tries to explore human nature as He alone knows to tell us ..
Without trying to innovate, experiment, or to call unduly concerned his way to compose and orchestrate these conceptual works, because this new album is the pure juice LUCASSEN immediately recognizable .. I can say that ON THIS PERFECT DAY is undoubtedly the most mature work of Arjen and having tightened the line-up has helped make his music more humane, simpler, more sensitive, more homogeneous these previous works have become too cumbersome and confusing .. because of the impressive number of talented musicians on these albums or AEYRON Star One .. not always easy to manage and sometimes heavy to digest ....

We feel the Osmosis between these musicians , forming a cohesive team, all involved in this great project .. and the result is a complete success! Between this wonderful song and beguiling, these guitars floydienne and air, the sound of keyboards single unmistakable creating that special atmosphere to the works of Lucassen ... and of course, these melodies and choruses make pests ON THIS THE PERFECT DAY ... an outstanding achievement, of great beauty that only Arjen A. LUCASSEN can offer us, ever since her first album and wonderful The Final Experiment in 1995 ..
No doubt .. LUCASSEN this vintage 2009 is a grand cru .. and proves once and for all that this exceptional artist has a knack for turning a gold everything he composes.

JUST THANK YOU! MR LUCASSEN FOR THIS WONDERFUL NEW PROJECT ... GUILT MACHINE.
