Warning ... Bomb outside! is perhaps the band Rock / Metal of 2009 and certainly in future years ...
SACRUM is a South American group and more specifically Argentina .. We can not say that the production metal end of this continent is quantitatively the most prolific. By cons, qualitatively this continent has given birth to some "metal band" truly remarkable, like the famous Brazilian thrashers SEPULTURA or mythical progenitor ANGRA of one of the finest progressive metal album that we have offered the wonderful HOLLY LAND, an album that marked the minds of all fans of heavy metal and progressive rock in the 90's.
So as you notice if the rock and metal groups of this continent are not legion, they are often of high quality ... And with SACRUM is no exception to this rule because they come from Argentina to take it over the banner of South American rock and intend to conquer the rest of the world knew as the Brazilians to their illustrious predecessors.
SACRUM was born in 2003 under the leadership of singer STANISLAO Silveyra and guitarist MARTIN GUERRERO. This first demo TRANSGENIA association will be launched in 2006. But the click will occur in 2008 when they then decide to self-produce their first album COGNITION. A remarkable debut album full of freshness and energy that drew my attention to its release suggesting a potential above-average and a bright future for these young Argentines.
DREAM THEATER was not wrong in their having given the first part of their concert in Buenos Aires Argentina ... And have the confidence of the Theatre of Dreams is definitely a mark of recognition ...
It So with some excitement that I discovered the second installment of the adventures our four heroes of the pampas, entitled DAYS OF QUARANTINE .. And my expectation was not vein as SACRUM just made a giant leap from the first album COGNITION, with this superb DAYS OF QUARANTINE. The work on this new album is absolutely remarkable is very professional.
Having a technical background, above the average, one might imagine that these musicians are trying to become (like many young metal band), one of many clones of the famous and untouchable DREAM THEATER, merely plagiarize these to demonstrate their technical talent to the whole world .. and finally, forgotten for lack of originality. Well it is not because we moved here SACRUM music sober and varied sailing smoothly in various musical styles, from alternative rock to progressive metal, alternate titles and muscular rock songs with delicate melodies filled with emotion without common measure ...
The main strength of this album is the diversity of styles, played with simplicity and never make too many, each title being a tube power is easily remembered by the listener .. There is no doubt about the fact that SACRUM wanted raking off by calling this album very consensus which should rally to his cause a very large audience .. Whether you're a fan of alternative rock, progressive rock, metal of all kinds, there's something for everyone.

All ingredients essential to the birth of a rock star seems to gather here, but the recipe for success is a total success, we must add an element essential to that chemistry, "A live performance quality" have the capacity to unleash the masses, to lift an entire public is ready to vibrate and to commune with the group ...
